Requirements
- An Instagram professional account — Business or Creator.
- Access to log in to that account on Instagram’s login screen.
How the connection works
MuChat uses Instagram’s official API. You approve access on Instagram’s own login screen; MuChat receives a token that lets it read and reply to comments and messages on your behalf. The token is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and your password is never shared with us.
Each MuChat workspace connects one Instagram account. You’ll find it under Settings → Channels → Instagram.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings → Channels → Instagram and choose Disconnect.
