What is MuChat and why do I need it?
MuChat answers the comments, story replies and DMs your Instagram posts bring in — instantly, in your words — so the people ready to buy get a reply while they’re still interested, and you and your team handle the real conversations in one shared inbox.
What do the plan limits count?
Live automations (how many are switched on at the same time — drafts and stopped automations don’t count) and team seats (how many people can sign in to the workspace).
What happens when I reach my live-automation limit?
Nothing that’s already live stops. You just can’t switch on another automation until you stop one or upgrade.
Do I need a credit card to get started?
No. The Free plan doesn’t need a card. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial: you add a card at checkout and pay $0 today.
Can I try a paid plan for free?
Yes — Essential and Pro both start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you won’t be charged. The trial is once per workspace.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
Manage or cancel your subscription any time from Settings → Billing, through the secure portal of our payment provider, Stripe. Cancelling keeps your data; you move to the Free plan’s limits.
Is MuChat approved by Instagram?
MuChat uses Instagram’s official API, and you connect through Instagram’s own login screen — we never see your password. We’re an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.
Which plan is right for a team?
Every plan has the same features. Pick by seats — 1 on Free, 2 on Essential and 5 on Pro — and by how many automations you run at once: 3, 10 and unlimited. Pro also includes priority support.
