The business case
For services, coaching and high-ticket products, a phone call closes what a DM thread can't. Asking for the number while they're already talking to you — and telling your team the moment it arrives — gets the call made while they still remember why they asked.
The ask step checks the reply really is a phone number before saving it, asks once more if it isn't, and lets anyone who says stop off the hook. A saved number tags the contact, reopens the conversation in the inbox and notifies the team.

Once they’ve answered: Adds tags “callback”, marks the conversation open, notifies the team

If they don’t answer within a day, or say stop: Sends: “No worries! If you'd rather chat here, just send your question 💬”
