The business case
A message that lands at 11pm and hears nothing until 10am reads as ignored. A short, honest note that you're away — sent only when you actually are — keeps the conversation warm until someone can answer properly, without pretending to be a live reply.
It runs on DMs no other automation handles, at most once a day per person. The condition checks your business hours (Settings › General) in your account's time zone: outside them it sends the away note and tags the contact, inside them it sends nothing and marks the conversation open for your team. With no hours set, you're treated as always open, so it never fires by accident.
